A Day at Pragati

A typical school day at Pragati begins with the spiritual activity of morning school assembly. Hymns are sung and prayers offered before the attention of the students are drawn to cultural and social issues. The objective is to create a spiritual awareness and at the same time a tolerance for other’s faith and belief, and appreciate our rich heritage. The aim is to strengthen values and moral character of a student.

This is followed by classroom lessons in a day. Students involve in classroom learning, library activity, sports and games period, music and art & craft, etc. At a designated time the student body partakes of lunch under strict supervision of teachers.

A normal school day begins at 7:45 AM and ends at 1:45 PM in summer and in winter at 8:00 AM and ends at 2:00 PM, where after the students leave for their homes on school conveyance which reach all the nooks and corners of the city.
